This life-size tour invites you to go back in time. From room to room, from character to event, visitors embark on an exciting journey through the history of France.
State-of-the-art technologies enable sensations to be multiplied, for a breathtaking realism. Temperature, humidity, sounds, textures, drafts, movements… the experience is multiple. The principle is to allow visitors to touch past centuries.
Young and old alike rediscover their history on a real scale. This course offers several levels of reading, to intrigue and excite all audiences. The voices of Franck Ferrand and Anissa Haddadi accompany this comeback full of surprises.

This 360° video projection show offers a totally immersive experience of a key moment in the human adventure.
In a huge elliptical arena, you choose your place to take full advantage of the show unfolding all around you. Thanks to videomapping, Amaclio's original technique, the images come to life before your very eyes.
This highly technical show aims to transport visitors to the heart of the action on 6 June 1944, offering an incomparable immersive and educational experience.
By combining archive images, sound and emotion, it recreates the intensity and dedication of those who fought for freedom.

Historical timeline
This giant digital and interactive timeline can be viewed continuously at the Cité de l'Histoire.
This corridor of time is an innovative experience, both in terms of its size and its concept. The highly visual timeline lets you freely explore 400 major dates in world history, including a wing devoted entirely to the Second World War. In a freely wandering area, 26 touch-sensitive terminals are at your disposal, serving as a backdrop for an interactive projection full of surprise

Our timeline, with its cutting-edge format and visual appeal, is designed to captivate young and old alike. SPECIFIC TICKET -
The virtual reality experience «Eternal Notre-Dame», already offered to visitors since January 2022, allows to discover the Cathedral of Paris through the centuries and according to different points of view (Nave, frame, towers, street, etc.) and this in a multi-formatfree-roaming user.
Available under the forecourt of Notre-Dame de Paris, the experience is also welcomed by the Cité de l'Histoire.
